Reprimand Case
​(in English - limited pilot trials only)


The following case was developed in collaboration with the Department of Psychology at Umeå University.
The aim of this case is to see how gender can affect our interpretations of power aspects in a conversation.

Recording and Morphing
Before recording the scripts, we first trialed a number of voices to see which responded best to voice morphing, 
Version 1A: American Female (original)
Version 1B: American male (manipulated)

Presenting and Conducting the Case
This case can be contextualised as an exercise in sociolinguistics on the theme language and power.
